Support

We answer. Usually within a couple of business days.

Best from inside the app: Settings → Help & feedback → “Send feedback”. The version, device and system travel with the message, so there is nothing to list by hand, and you can attach a screenshot or a short screen recording. What became of it is on the same screen, under “My messages”.

No app to hand — write to support@whisprompt.app. Then tell us your device (iPhone / iPad / Android model), OS version, the language you’re using, and what happened. Screenshots help.

Frequently asked

Does voice tracking need an internet connection?

With an offline language pack installed, no: download one and recognition runs entirely on the device, so airplane mode changes nothing. Without a pack, Whisprompt uses the recogniser built into your phone, which is offline on many devices but reaches Apple’s or Google’s servers on others — depending on the device, the language and your settings. A connection is also what you need to download a pack the first time, or to sync a connected source.

Which languages are supported?

Oʻzbekcha, Tiếng Việt. Where pronunciation differs you pick the variant — Mexican Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, Austrian German. For most languages your device’s own recognition starts working right away and is free to use, and a downloadable offline pack adds tracking with no connection at all; ქართული, Қазақша, Кыргызча, Oʻzbekcha, Euskara have no built-in recogniser on any phone, so their offline packs are free.

How do I connect Notion?

In Sources, connect your Notion workspace and pick a page to mirror read-only. Your team edits in Notion; Whisprompt always shows the latest version. (Connected online sources are a Pro feature.)

Does it work with a remote?

Standard Bluetooth clickers and page-turners work out of the box, and the on-screen controls are always available. The proprietary NEEWER RT113 is supported specifically, buttons can be reassigned in the app, and support for other models can be added on request. With an iPhone, an Apple Watch makes a fine remote too. One thing that is not a remote: a second phone or tablet joined to a session is a screen — it shows the script but does not drive it. Driving a prompter from another device is what the Mac operator station is for, and that is still in development.

Is there an Android version? And the TV?

Not on Google Play yet. Whisprompt for Android — phones, tablets and Android TV — is in closed testing, and the TV prompter lives only there: there is no Apple TV build, so a television needs an Android TV. Joining asks nobody’s permission and waits on nobody: join the tester group, then open the opt-in page and become a tester — after that Google Play offers Whisprompt like any other app. Both steps need the same Google account, the one signed in to Play on the device.

How do I manage or cancel my subscription?

On iOS: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Whisprompt. On Android: Google Play → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions. You can also request a refund through your store. See the Terms of Use.

How is my privacy protected?

Your audio and scripts stay on your device, and we sell no data. The app can measure how well it performs, but only if you let it: nothing is measured until you say yes, each device asks once — after you have actually used it, not at first launch — and a no is final on that device, not a question repeated next week. If you did say yes, the switch is at Settings → Usage data, at any time, no reason needed, and turning it off takes no more taps than turning it on did. Turning it off also stops the measuring on your other linked devices, the next time they are connected; turning it on starts it on the device you turned it on and on no other. The measurements never carry a word of what you write or say. They do say which locked feature sent you to the subscription screen and how a purchase or a restore ended, but never a price, a receipt or a payment detail. And they are not anonymous, which we would rather say than let you assume otherwise: the measurements from an installation carry one lasting random identifier of their own, created only when you allow the measuring and replaced at most thirteen months after that, and it is not your subscription’s identifier, which is never sent with a measurement. Your devices are counted separately unless you tell us to count them as one person — a separate question, answered once for the devices on your subscription rather than on each of them, and one that changes only the identifier and nothing about what is measured. The shared identifier only reaches a device where you have allowed the measuring. Details in the Privacy Policy.
