Camera and prompter in one app

Shoot the take right here: while it records, the text keeps following your voice — on iPhone, and on Android from version 13. Picture and sound hold together to the end of the take, so nothing drifts apart in the edit.

The remote you already own

An ordinary Bluetooth clicker, a page-turner or a keyboard works right away: start, pause and back-to-top from a button rather than the screen. The NEEWER RT113 remote is supported specifically; need another model — tell us and we will look. With an iPhone an Apple Watch does the same, and the phone stays on the tripod.

The prompter works without an account

Whisprompt asks for no account — not to read, not to link two devices: install it and you are reading. Scripts stay as ordinary files on your device.

Fair questions

The ones we’d ask before trusting an app with a shoot.

Does it really work offline?

It can, and that is the point of the offline packs: download one and recognition runs entirely on the device, so airplane mode changes nothing — tracking, recording and casting over local Wi-Fi all keep working. Without a pack, Whisprompt uses your system’s built-in recogniser, which is offline on many phones but reaches its platform’s servers on others, depending on the device, the language and your settings.

Where does my voice go?

Never to us — we run no speech servers and store no recordings. With an offline pack installed, the audio stays on the device entirely; without one, your phone’s own recogniser handles it and may send it to Apple or Google under their terms. Whisprompt needs no account, and this site runs no trackers or third-party analytics. Your scripts stay on your devices unless you connect a source like Notion yourself.

Which languages can it follow?

24 in all: English, Русский, Català, Čeština, Deutsch, Ελληνικά, Español, Euskara, Suomi, Français, हिन्दी, Italiano, ქართული, Қазақша, Кыргызча, Nederlands, Polski, Português, Română, Svenska, Türkçe, Українська, Oʻzbekcha, Tiếng Việt. For most of them your device’s own recognition starts right away and a downloadable model adds tracking with no connection; ქართული, Қазақша, Кыргызча, Oʻzbekcha, Euskara have no built-in recogniser on any phone, so their offline packs are free. Where pronunciation differs, you pick the variant: Mexican Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, Austrian German.

Will it work with my teleprompter glass?

Yes — horizontal mirror for beam-splitter glass, vertical flip for overhead mounts, and high-contrast reading themes designed to survive reflection. Any rig that fits a phone or tablet works.

What remotes are supported?

Standard Bluetooth clickers and page-turners work out of the box, buttons are remappable in the app. The proprietary NEEWER RT113 is supported too. An Apple Watch makes a fine remote as well.

Is there a Mac version?

Yes — Whisprompt for Mac is the operator station: the shared library, live on-air editing, multi-window prompter output and take transfer from the phone. It is in the final stretch before release; one Pro covers it and your mobile devices.

Is there an Android version? And the TV?

Not on Google Play yet. Whisprompt for Android — phones, tablets and Android TV — is in closed testing, and the TV prompter lives only there: there is no Apple TV build, so a television needs an Android TV. Joining asks nobody’s permission and waits on nobody: join the tester group, then open the opt-in page it points you to and become a tester — after that Google Play offers Whisprompt like any other app. Both steps need the same Google account, the one signed in to Play on the device.

What does it cost?

The core prompter — voice tracking, recording, casting — is free without an account. Pro is a subscription priced in your local currency in the app, and it extends to devices you link.
